End

The entrance to the Lurie Gardens next to the Chicago Institute of Art. This was our first adventure! Through the gardens and into Millenium Park. Trees trimmed to the point and beautiful arrangements and variety of flowers and plants. It was a perfect place to end the day. The night calling our names and moon illuminating the sky.

Living Art

“YOU ARE LIVING ART. YOU INFUSE YOUR LIFE WITH A DEEP APPRECIATION OF WHAT MATTERS.” –MOTHER, DAUGHTER, ARTIST, SISTER, LOVER

To the newcomers, a reintroduction is in need.

I come from an area not too far from here. A city of few

One square mile in all between 9 and 10, not very tall.

I like to read, write, rhyme the time that I am

In to begin it.

They call me Dj Gus I got that wild hair.

Music, art, spiritual existence, health and culture are essential to my life.
Living and learning, sharing stories and expressing truth or fiction on a daily level integrates the natural cycles of life.I am a strong believer and supporter of Art Education and the integration
in addition, transculturation of art and education as separate entities. This blog was created to tap into the digital realm and ever so changing and evolving world that we live in. I update examples of my work, inspired words, influences, interests etc… For example in one of my classes, we were to assigned to document a trip to Chicago we all took together; covering museums, galleries, public works, sculptures, and of course adventures along the way. What a day it turned into. Beautiful and warm weather. Lake Michigan glistening in the sun, bikes, buses, protests, and more. It was inviting breeze that swept me and my girlfriends along the streets of Chicago. It was awesome and overwhelming to be there for only one day. Following this post are pictures, videos, and the conscious words and moments of a day in Chicago for Augusta Morrison.
