Following up on Fiona's speech about web comics, online as a tool of promotion, community, sharing, entertainment, academic research etc... I find the internet is the fastest way to promote an idea or event. The communication and language barriers are blurred in the online realm. We are able to connect with people who live across the globe. The medium of comics combines text and image making it easier for readers to understand.

Storytelling is one mode of sharing knowledge about culture. The Adventures of Kitty and Bloo tells the story of two adventurist who follow their own path and explore the land.

1. This first image is in the THREE WALLS GALLERY. It is a video installation about man and nature, music, dancing, and communicating with art. Titled the impossible voyage.


2. WESTERN EXHIBITION
Artist: miller and shellabarger
Black on white. Two artists collaborate in love and expression is this exhibit. These male artists display erotic graphic images of themselves in various forms. scultpure, paper, and relief.


3.Gate.
Curvy steel slopes bind together to create a space of architectural simplicity and beauty.
This special gate is located right next to the Three Walls Gallery.

The entrance to the Lurie Gardens next to the Chicago Institute of Art. This was our first adventure! Through the gardens and into Millenium Park. Trees trimmed to the point and beautiful arrangements and variety of flowers and plants. It was a perfect place to end the day. The night calling our names and moon illuminating the sky.

in addition, transculturation of art and education as separate entities. This blog was created to tap into the digital realm and ever so changing and evolving world that we live in. I update examples of my work, inspired words, influences, interests etc… For example in one of my classes, we were to assigned to document a trip to Chicago we all took together; covering museums, galleries, public works, sculptures, and of course adventures along the way. What a day it turned into. Beautiful and warm weather. Lake Michigan glistening in the sun, bikes, buses, protests, and more. It was inviting breeze that swept me and my girlfriends along the streets of Chicago. It was awesome and overwhelming to be there for only one day. summertime

currently working on the sequel to last summer.
i'm stepping up my game a notch too...
capturing each step of my trip out to new york, the hamptons, nyc. with some more advanced technology. a digital CAMERA.
picking out the best stories to entertain my friends and family. all is coming well
